The GBPRA was created to represent the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the annual International Precision Rifle Federation (IPRF) World Championships.

Alongside trying to show the world the best shooters the UK has to offer we actively push to expand the sport of Precision rifle throughout the UK. 

We are above all else an association of shooters, run for our shooters to ensure that our sport goes from strength to strength. 

Our aims are to encourage and facilitate the development and participation in the sport of PRS in the UK. To organise and facilitate the attendance of representatives of the UK at international events. To liaise with UK and International stake holders on the conduct of precision rifle and to promote safe and fair practices at UK  events.

So far we have managed to bring in all major precision rifle match providers in the UK to participate in a national leader board for Full-bore, our Rimfire affiliate program has over 129 active shooters across every country in the UK and 2022 the first full-bore world championships. The UK team came back with 1 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze individual trophies and 1 gold and 1 bronze team trophy. 

We also offer our members exciting opportunities for training, practice and socialising throughout the year.
