Great Britain Precision Rifle Association

The UK representative body for PRS The GBPRA was created to represent the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the annual International Precision Rifle Federation (IPRF) World Championships.

Alongside trying to show the world the best shooters the UK has to offer we actively push to expand the sport of precision rifle throughout the UK.

We are above all else an association of shooters, run for our shooters to ensure that our sport goes from strength-to-strength.

Our aims are to:

• Encourage and facilitate the development and participation in the sport of precision rifle shooting in the UK.
• To organise and facilitate the attendance of representatives of the UK at international events.
• To liaise with UK and International stake holders on the conduct of precision rifle shooting and to promote safe and fair practices at UK events.

We administer and manage a national leader board so shooters can track their progress as they develop in the sport and our rimfire affiliate program has over 140 active shooters across the country.

We have sent a team to the IPRF World Championships every year since 2022 and in 2025 we had the honour of hosting the Rimfire World Championships.

We also offer our members exciting opportunities for training, practice and socialising throughout the year.

Precision rifle is an exciting sport that is growing rapidly worldwide and there has never been a better time to get involved.
